Carolyn Payne-Gemmell
Carolyn Payne-Gemmell : Get plenty of chickens going, they love crickets. If there are lots of small logs lying around you can flip them over when the chickens are close buy and you can watch the feeding frenzy, the chickens will run very fast to catch a cricket, they must be tasty.

Bob Willis
Bob Willis : a 'good bug mix' of Red Clover, Lucerne, Cosmos, Sweet Alice, Dill, Caraway, Coriander, Buckwheat, Baby's Breath, Queen Anne's Lace and Marigold will attract various beneficial insects. Plant in blocks of a meter square in different areas. Yes, this is an Australian mix, but I believe it will work where ever it can grow. There may of course, be others in your region. Bacillus Thuringiensis (Dipel in Oz) is a naturally occurring biological insecticide for leaf eating bugs. And yes, I agree with Jordan; I have/am creating habitat for birds, frogs, bees and whatever else wants to live there!
