Seed swap community events like
this not only help promote seed saving but also preserves our cultural heritage
with the passing along of critical information which is a component of
sustainability that is often overlooked.
Keith Nurse makes astute observations
on this subject in his white paper entitled, "Culture as the Fourth
Pillar of Sustainable Development".
