New word - Slowbalisation. Covid-19 has been the major disruption to globalisation within the past twelve years. The pandemic will not kill globalisation off, but it will deepen the cracks. Local supply chains have lot of sense, emissions wise... I still remember this story - British seafood shipped to Thailand - and back - just to have the shells removed. I've always been sceptical of globalization, and as you see with today's world all the power of trade is held with a tiny number of companies and nations.
