Pakistan Permaculture Designs Pioneering in planting seeds of Permaculture in Pakistan
It was a dream to pin Pakistan on world permaculture map, and here we are finally presenting Pakistan Permaculture Design. Keeping in view the high prices of food in Pakistan, we need a system which produce well, enough production, sustainabale, easily replicable, adoptable, suppoert environment "work with nature". Permaculture is the right solution for it.
Our moto is to train people and share the best practices of permaculture with all so that every boddy including the poor and most vulnerable communities start producing their own food and they are self sustainable.
We will organize trainings on Permaculture, PDC courses, provide consultacies in permaculture designing, permablitz days etc.
At the moment we have a practical farm in Islamabad where we are practicing the best ideas and it is our demonstration site as well. Beside this we are promoting Permaculture through Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/PakistanPermaculture) and twitter as well.
So please join us to support and promotion of permaculture in Pakistan.

PRI TeacherWith the exception of the ‘Member’ who has never taken a PDC, all of the above can apply to become a PRI PDC Teacher. PRI PDC Teachers are those who the PRI recognise, through a vetting board, as determined and competent to teach the full 72-hour course as developed by Permaculture founder Bill Mollison – covering all the topics of The Designers’ Manual as well as possible (i.e. not cherry picking only aspects the teacher feels most interested or competent in). Such teachers also commit to focussing on the design science, and not including subjective spiritual/metaphysical elements. The reason these items are not included in the PDC curriculum is because they are “belief” based. Permaculture Design education concerns itself with teaching good design based on strategies and techniques which are scientifically provable. PRI PDC Teachers may be given teaching and/or consultancy offerings as they become available as the network grows. |

Simbly Farm Permaculture project
Simbly Farm was the first permaculture site that was started in Pakistan. Now the property has been sold but I am happy the journey which was started is in progress.
