Project Description

The Collective is a small permaculture group of about a dozen more (but growing) ofpeople in developing permaculture projects, experiments in bio and alternativesustainable solutions.

The Collective permaculture is a dream-idea (design) of these people joined by themother planet Earth with voluntary simplicity and a life interest in the light footprint.Spread in a practical vision of a simple world, collective and holistic vi

This idea is more educational than artistic, just imagine! It is the task of making it happen. So we try to integrate people and communities in environmental training experiences, with different practices and disseminating ecopedagogic workshops, ethics and principles of Permaculture design, as encompassing seven fields of knowledge, guided didactically as the Flower of permaculture - a design offered byProfessor Australian David Holmgren, co-author of the Permaculture concept.

The Collective is maintained by permaculture and permaculture Bioconstrutores that help them to develop it from 2005 when the idelizaram starting their actions more effectively in 2007 after IPC8 - 8th International Permaculture Convergence / SP / BRAZIL. We are also connected to a network of permaculture all over the world.

The Collective is guided by an annual agenda of priorities, guided by the principles of permaculture and self-managed way. The Collective has a permaculture site, to structure practices, attitudes, networks and stations permaculture and self-maintain themselves with surplus production, running independend of statutes and sponsorships. His interest is not to create another institution or bureaucratic elite school in the troubled social fabric. But yes, getting people interested in permaculture and community action connect them in Permaculture in its various regions.

The concept of collective practice is part of a philosophy of respect in relation to practice and present themselves as synonyms, working as producers of world and sense. There is a primacy of the relationship and practice replacing the rule of individuals or objects.

To understand G. Simondon (1989) says that the relationship of the collective is transindividual understood as a space of articulation between the individual dimension and the collective dimension, distinct from the inter-relationship, considered the relationship between individuals.

Nevertheless, Simondon shows that the whole process of individuation is a result of overlapping between these two modes of relationship, and that necessarily transindividual emerges from a background of interpersonal relations that constitute our social existence.ew of life, drawing on art and applied ecology as their means and ways of expressing themselves.

Experience diverse forms of cultural and environmental needs planetary uniting withflavors of everyday life.

The Collective develops permaculture Permaculture practices and training of individuals and groups in permaculture and bio throughout Brazil, where it also gets people tovolunteer and exchange of knowledge in the Eco-House Beehive -www.casacolmeia.wordpress.com Permaculture and Other stations in Brazil .

Legend of Badges

Note: The various badges displayed in people profiles are largely honesty-based self-proclamations by the individuals themselves. There are reporting functions users can use if they know of blatant misrepresentation (for both people and projects). Legitimacy, competency and reputation for all people and projects can be evidenced and/or developed through their providing regular updates on permaculture work they’re involved in, before/after photographs, etc. A spirit of objective nurturing of both people and projects through knowledge/encouragement/inspiration/resource sharing is the aim of the Worldwide Permaculture Network.

PRI Teacher

With the exception of the ‘Member’ who has never taken a PDC, all of the above can apply to become a PRI PDC Teacher. PRI PDC Teachers are those who the PRI recognise, through a vetting board, as determined and competent to teach the full 72-hour course as developed by Permaculture founder Bill Mollison – covering all the topics of The Designers’ Manual as well as possible (i.e. not cherry picking only aspects the teacher feels most interested or competent in). Such teachers also commit to focussing on the design science, and not including subjective spiritual/metaphysical elements. The reason these items are not included in the PDC curriculum is because they are “belief” based. Permaculture Design education concerns itself with teaching good design based on strategies and techniques which are scientifically provable.

PRI PDC Teachers may be given teaching and/or consultancy offerings as they become available as the network grows.
