I have founded a non-profit NGO to assist service groups with empowering populations which they are trying to assist. I have spent years in scouts teaching young people outdoors skills, crafts, cooking, gardening ect. I have always been involved in serving the community and have applied my knowledge to trying to assist other groups.
I work with service and mission groups to research and develop projects and I am currently working on a project in Burkina Faso, West Africa to develop gardening/farming parcels of land for the people.
The current plan is to obtain a large piece of land on which I plan to drill a well and parcel the land to small gardens for each family to care for and feed their family with. We will be planting Moringa trees along with small garden plants between. This is the village of Kimini project. I am raising funds to help kick this project off.
I am researching the best methods to use for this project and am looking into permaculture methods usable in the dry climate of Africa.
