About lily aagren

Background: Growing up in inner city Melbourne, I was home-educated by my parents, and was able to spend as much as I wanted getting my hands dirty and experimenting in the garden. Being a small inner city block of land, all available space is now filled, vertical and horizontal!

I then started volunteering at a local indigenous nursery, learning about propagation and conservation, and went WWOOFING on a few farms around Australia. Trying to absorb as much knowledge as I could about becoming self-sufficient, growing food, preserving, fermenting, drying, natural building and more it wasn't long before I heard about Permaculture, and realised it pretty much encompassed all of my beliefs! The next step was to do my PDC which I did in Thailand with an amazing group of people from all different backgrounds and climates..

I am now fresh from the course, and inspired and ready to keep on learning! If all goes to plan I would love to do a internship on a farm for 3 or more months, preferably in Australia or New Zealand! Then who knows where from there!
