About Isaac Harkness

I grew up in a small town spending a lot of time in nature. We always had a garden and at a lot of wild meat. The idea of self-sufficiency and off the grid living appeals to me greatly. This is how I discovered permaculture. I took my PDC in September, 2009 at Melbourne University with Geoff Lawton and Bill Mollison. I then WWOOFed at Southern Cross Permaculture, Milkwood Permaculture and PRI Australia. In 2010 I spent the year in South America having the opportunity to volunteer at seven different projects in Ecuador, Bolivia and Argentina. Currently, I am designing a permaculture system for the family property. Implementation will continue throughout the year.
