I was born and raised just north of Nairobi, Kenya in a Forest I consider sacred. I have always been in tune with nature around me, and that how I got the name 'green peace' when I climbed Mount Kenya.

I was first introduced to permaculture by my mum who was totally inspired by Warren Brush, who came to Kenya to teach a Permaculture design course. We came to America to study more about it, when I completed Sustainable Vocations at Quail Springs. I (unfortunately) had to go back home and finish off my last two years of high school, but I remained determined to come back to USA and learn more from my mentors and inspiring friends.
I recently graduated from my PDC at Quail Springs, feeling totally inspired!

I am currently traveling around California with my mum doing as many courses and classes that we can. So far we have done an introduction to cob buildinng, a mushroom inoculation workshop and have implemented a permaculture garden into our friends front yard (as rent!).
