In 2014 I became interested in Permaculture after watching some online videos in regards to self sustainable living by Joel Salatin and also reading some permaculture books by Bill Mollison.

In 2015 I discovered Geoff Lawton's videos online and was extremely impressed with his knowledge skills and passion. So in order to learn more I signed up for his "Online Permaculture Design Course" which I would recommend for anyone interested. I realised that indirectly, I had been undertaking permaculture on an urban block for some years already without even understanding permaculture in its entirety. After completing Geoff's online course I have continued to learn and better improve my urban block and have a vast array of fruit and vegetables living in a permaculture designed environment, along with chickens, native bees and a large worm farm smack bang in suburbia.

My goal with my husband and daughter is to start this on a larger scale on possibly an acre or two property and eventually in years to come establish a farm-gate stall to show people just how successful permaculture is and how much we can produce by looking after our land.
