I am from a small village in the centre of Slovakia...

I used to study artificial life and artificial intelligence as a postgraduate. There I started to consider the world as a whole constructed of interconnected systems. I realized that mimicking life in software is very far from the real life systems all around us. At that time a friend of mine told about that magic "P" word that gave me sense of what I was looking for. Immediately I started to read Mollison's Permaculture II and the next year I made my first PDC.

Since that time I have been working in the Slovak permaculture organization (Permakultúra SK - http://permakultura.sk) and have started my permaculture design practice (http://actinidia.sk). With my partner, we are running a zero-waste food e-shop (http://bezodpadu.sk) and we are planning to start a small restoration agriculture farm in the following years.
