My Name is Russell Bailey, I am 33 years old, Married with 3 awesome kids. I have studied Permaculture for a few years now and have implemented those practices into my everyday life on and off of my property. I have enrolled into my first official PDC starting this fall through "WeAreAllFarmers" based out of Blacksburg VA. and am extremely excited about it. My plan is to establish a non-profit organization based out of my own property to develop a Permaculture Research Center. I want to run Free workshops for the community and have PDCs and to build a strong community within Lewisville NC. My focus is on the future generations. to educate kids on the importance of "Earthcare, Peoplecare, and the return of Surplus".

My goal, with your help, is to establish "the true modern smart farm" that will create a self-sustainable landscape with an edible food forest and edible landscape designs and animal systems. After Established as a non-profit organization this property will then be opened to the local community as a facility that not only educates current and future generations on earth care and people care through permaculture design, but donates surplus of foods to local needing families, schools, food pantries, shelters etc. My future goals with this project will be to create and expand permaculture designs into the city of Lewisville, NC with community gardens, farmers markets etc. As well as introducing Permaculture into schools in the surrounding area, and eventually into other cities within Forsyth County.
