I'm an Licensed Electrician and Certified PV Solar Installer in Puerto Rico through my company Alterna Solar (alternapr.com). I also work as a freelance Graphic/Web Designer through my company IamData( iamdata.com)

I live in a .5 acre lot in Rio Grande, PR, just 7 minutes from El Yunque rainforest. This house was inherited in an advanced state of decay due to regular floods. Through the years I fixed the flood causes and divided the main house into four apartments which are currently available for rent on AirBnB. Separately, I built a tiny house (8’ x 20’) which is my current residence. Thanks to a constant lack of funds, I've learned how to do most tasks myself including: replacing all floor tiles in all apartments, wood working (Homemade bunk beds and kitchen cabinets), plumbing, concrete floors, masonry, electricity (for which I got licensed), etc.

I work as a Solar PV Installer/ Electrician and sometimes as a Graphic and Web Designer. My main income comes from renting the apartments you can see in the Lodging section of this page.

I acquired my Permaculture Design Certificate on 2015 through Tom Girolamo's Landscapes for Life Foundation Inc. Tom Girolamo, is the author of "Your eco-friendly Yard" and the founder of "Eco-Building & Forestry, LLC". I'm currently a member of the Permaculture Association (Britain) with whom I'm continuing my path towards the Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design.

I have been practicing the Permaculture Principles since 2012 by following Bill Mollison’s book: Permaculture- A Designers Manual. I’ve always been self-taught and was not interested in the PDC until I participated in some Permaculture/ Bio-Construction Workshops in Lightning in a Bottle Festival in California. After my exposure to the community aspect of this philosophy, I was hooked.

I intend to combine this knowledge with my current experience in renewable energy, towards the goal of providing a holistic service that puts emphasis on regenerative practices.
