Inspired by a startup movement in Belarus, in the autumn of 2013, I took a 3 months course in ‘TechMinsk’, International Entrepreneurship School for IT Startups in Minsk with experts from Silicon Valley, Europe and Belarus.
In addition, in 2013, I completed the IBM company’s course ‘Principles of Project Management’ which helped me to take a look at web development from the manager's point of view.
From 2008 to 2014 I have been engaged in the commercial development of websites and web services in various, mainly foreign companies. Over the years, my duties included technical Web development, as well as communication with customers and team management.
In March 2014, I left my job and switched to freelance. It gave me the possibility to spend more time on development of my own projects.
In my spare time I actively take part in such activities as IT-hackathons and Startup Weekends. For instance, this summer my team and I were lucky to win one of the Startup Weekends. We created a prototype for an online platform that allows to unify software developers to travel together at conferences, trainings and job fairs.
Now I am involved in three startups where I am responsible for software architecture, development, coordination, high-level management and creation of requirements depending on necessity. Sometimes I talk to the potential investors presenting our ideas.
