Fabian has a BSc in Environmental and Geographical Science and Zoology, a BSc (Honours) in Botany and an MSc in Agroecology. However, having grown up on a sheep farm in the Kalahari, the Sciences were too theoretical for him and so he has been working on a biodynamic farm and in a nursery since then.

During his MSc he came across permaculture and found in it the answer to the question he was always pondering. How can he and the world live more in tune with everything, be happier and sustainable in the long term? In 2015 he solidified his extensive Ecology knowledge and farming/gardening skills with a PDC.

It is his mission to establish a cutting edge permaculture demonstration site in Namibia. The goal is to demonstrate successful, local alternatives and to pass on knowledge to communities and individuals looking for founded and appropriate permaculture techniques.
