We are currently setting up an organic farm in the lower Himalayan mountains of Uttarakhand. We home to run it as a community farm.

I came into farming a little late in life after retiring from the Indian Army. Chance took me Schumacher College in Devon for a series of courses. Last year I won a fellowship to go to University of California, Santa Cruz to study Agroecology. After my return I decided to set up an intentional community to practice natural farming in the mountains.

We are currently preparing to build a low impact dwelling on the land for our visitors and volunteers. We are looking to build using mud and bamboo.

We would love to have a permaculture designer visit us to help us in our early stages of establishing the orchard and the farm
