I have been doing sustainable living things for years, and went deeply into the subject by participating in a PDC in 1998. I returned to Portland, attended some PC events at Lost Valley in Oregon, and then was a founding member of the Portland Permaculture Guild (see: http://www.thedirt.org/ppg).

I practice Permaculture on my small urban landscape in the Mt. Tabor area of Portland, Oregon. I am an artist and sculptor, and I am especially interested in the aesthetic issues and applications of PC, as well as extended social connections that foster interest in PC and community-building. I also am a grant writer.
