Born and raised in the Netherlands, I was living in rural places surrounded by nature. From a young age there has been a felt connection with trees, plants and animals. There is this strong sensibility for human frequencies and creativity. Which later appeared to be useful qualities.
By graduating social work at the university, there has been a path of working in the field of youth care for 11 years. Meanwhile I have been devoted to the Yoga practice since 2004 and began teaching yoga in 2014, being trained with 200h E-RYT and several continuing Teacher Trainings in Belgium, the Netherlands and Portugal, Yoga Alliance Education certified 300h+. There is a specialty on Ashtanga, yin yoga, trauma and mysofascial release.
The intention is to share positive energy through the practice, by inspiring others to thrive from their own strength with healthy self-compassion. By connecting body and mind, we are more peaceful and present. Yoga is my main field of work for now.
In Portugal I met the most beautiful love of my life. Together we live on a family farm. This is the place that we slowly wish to transform into a ecological awareness center, a field of being. We get help from volunteers. The permaculture design course has changed my life once again. I feel very motivated to keep on putting it in practice.
We are located near Lisbon and for us it would be helpful to know where to find seeds to plant, especially beans and ground coverings. The idea is to design on contour and plant a food forest. Feel free to contact me here. Thanks:)
