I believe we can positively affect our community and ecosystem by observing natural systems and replicate what nature teaches us in a beneficial multifunction design. This can be from teaching children to restoring a watershed. This is my passion in life, seeking patterns in nature and replicating them while using as few resources
as possible and in turn benefiting all.
San Isidro Permaculture, Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA 2000-Present, Owner and operator of a design and installation company working locally and internationally focusing on Permaculture Design including erosion control & land restoration, native green building, grey water installation,
rainwater catchment, edible landscaping, and sustainability consulting. Projects range in scale from small holding to broad acreage. Clients include private individuals, communities, governments, aid organizations, NGOs, foundations and companies. Guest speaker at workshops on Permaculture and sustainability topics.

education. Scope of work included agro-forestry, storm water infiltration, ferro-cement tank construction, erosion control, grey water systems, solar photovoltaics, teaching organic agriculture classes and composting toilets.

Design/build gold rated green home on 10 acres using earth block and straw-bale walls, waste-water irrigation reuse system, rainwater harvesting, solar photovoltaics and thermal systems for heating and electricity. Restoration techniques designed to recharge a large historical watershed serving the city of Santa Fe and
feeding into the Rio Grande River.

Arroyo De Los Pinos - Design and install erosion prevention techniques on the historical Santa Fe Trail for the City of Santa Fe and private landowners funded by the US Environmental Protection Agency.
Southwest Sufi Community - Site analysis and design for a 2,000 acre intentional community.
Los Alamos Watershed Restoration - Broad-scale erosion control structures and restoration of native plants and grasses after the Cerro Grande wildfire of 2000. Contracted by the US Government Department of Energy.
Forked Lightening Ranch - Design and installation of erosion control gabions, native species re-vegetation, rainwater catchment system and pumice wick infiltration.
