About Paul Lynch

I am a mechanical engineer with experience in medical device R&D & in the solar thermal industry. I co-authored the Mayo Energy Audit 2009 – 2020 published by the sustainability institute Westport, Mayo, Ireland.

I got more interested in permaculture in 2006 - 2007 while volunteering on organic farms in Spain, and did a FPDC in Devon in 2010.

I am one year into implementing a permaculture project for the Rossport Solidarity House Mayo Ireland. It is used as a base for supporters of Shell to Sea - a social, environmental and economic justice campaign against the currently configured State backed Shell Corrib Gas Project. Through the campaign I have become interested in group dynamics and in tools for democratic organising.

I also do some work in graphic design and editing, but would ideally like to concentrate on permaculture design, implementation and learning!
