(projects i'm involved in)
I'm a geographer and as such I've studied the interrelations between human society and nature. I've worked in natural resource management and community empowerment in developing countries including Vietnam, Nepal, South Africa and Laos.
I'm dedicated to preserving life supporting systems in nature and in society.
My interest in the permaculture way of doing things and thinking about the world has always existed but was ignited in South Africa in 2000 , when I first came across the term.
I'm teaching PDCs and continuously developing my skills as a permaculture teacher and diploma tutor in the English and Nordic diploma systems. I was part of the European Permaculture Teachers Partnership from 2012-2014 as the Danish coordinator. I was accredited the Diploma in Applied Permaculture through Permaculture Association Britain in 2014. I've set up and now coordinate the LAND (Learning Activities Network and Demonstration) network for permaculture demonstration sites in Denmark and helping to set up LAND in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Estonia through NordPlus funding from 2017.
I've been on the board of the Danish Permaculture Association since 2012. I fundraise for permaculture teachers' further education through Erasmus+.
