A ecological designer, ecologist, educator, and land manager with a background in permaculture design and education, restoration ecology, agroforestry, agroecology, landscape design and planning.
I am a principal at Regenerative Design Group (http://regenerativedesigngroup.com/home), a whole systems, permaculture design firm in Greenfield, Massachusetts, U.S. We work with communities, colleges, farms, homes, and businesses to develop ecological, integrated, permaculture solutions.
I teach design courses and workshops in numerous settings primarily in the northeast and southeast u.s.
I served as the Land Steward and Permaculture program director at Lost Valley Educational Center in Oregon for 5 years. I was a Restoration Ecologist for The Nature Conservancy for two years.
I have a 3-acre permaculture homestead, Hickory Gardens.
