All my life I've had a deep interest in gardening and growing as much of my food as I could in whatever space I had available. I started as soon as I could walk and my grandparents let me in the garden.

I'm currently working a job that does not give me much time home. I'm on the road 75% to 90% of the year. I've found that researching and learning new skills and techniques helps ease the desire to be working on my land. It was through this research that I found Permaculture. It clicked, instantly I was hooked.

I've just finished an online PDC course with Geoff Lawton. I'm working and reworking my long term plans for my 25+ acres in Western North Carolina. Although I don't get much time home, when I am home it's a good long block of time. I research and plan while on the road, then work on what I can in the time I have. My plan is constantly being updated but having the goals and rough basics in place will help me make the best use of my resources.
